Our Story
Where financial understanding begins
Thlunarhub was built around a simple conviction: that financial literacy changes lives — not through quick fixes, but through patient, structured learning.
← Back to HomeWho We Are
A practice shaped by Chiang Mai
Thlunarhub began in 2012, when a small group of financial educators noticed a consistent gap: people living and working in Thailand — particularly those who had relocated from abroad — struggled to find clear, accessible information about how Thai financial systems worked, and how their own circumstances fitted into that picture.
The solution wasn't to offer more products. It was to offer understanding. Thlunarhub was established on Chiang Mai–Lamphun Road with one clear purpose: to provide structured, honest, education-first guidance to individuals and families navigating financial decisions in Thailand.
Over the years, the practice has served hundreds of clients — from newly arrived expatriates managing currency conversion for the first time, to long-term residents reviewing their annual financial position, to parents mapping out educational savings for children growing up between two countries.
We remain independent. We sell no products, earn no commissions, and take no referral fees. Our income comes entirely from programme fees, which means our attention is entirely on you.

Our Expertise
Financial knowledge built for life in Thailand
Navigating personal finances as a foreign resident in Thailand presents challenges that generic financial education rarely addresses. Local banking structures, currency conversion considerations, annual tax obligations for non-residents, and the complexities of planning for internationally educated children require a specific kind of knowledge.
Thlunarhub's educators have spent years building expertise at this intersection — understanding both the Thai regulatory environment and the practical financial concerns of people who call Chiang Mai home while maintaining financial ties to other countries.
The education we provide spans Thai banking system literacy, cross-border currency awareness, education fund construction for families in multi-national situations, and structured annual financial reviews that give individuals a coherent picture of where they stand and where they are heading.
What distinguishes Thlunarhub's approach is the weight placed on genuine comprehension over rote information transfer. Clients leave sessions not just informed, but able to apply their knowledge independently — asking better questions, making more considered decisions, and feeling more settled in their financial lives.
